Introducing The Energieinstitut an der JKU Linz
Introducing TREASURE consortium member - Energieinstitut an der JKU Linz.
The Energieinstitut an der JKU Linz is a non-university research institution with a multidisciplinary structure. Every year, in about 100 R&D projects, they deal with the further development of an energy system that positively influences living, economic and environmental spaces, strengthens European economies and reduces fossil energy sources as far as possible.
The inter- and transdisciplinary cooperation of Energieinstitut’s three departments – energy economics, energy law, energy technology – enables a comprehensive and interdisciplinary holistic analysis of the (future) topic of energy.
Role in the project
In the TREASURE project, based on the high level of expertise and references in this area, Energieinstitut an der JKU Linz performs the LCA Life Cycle Analysis and TEA Techno-Economic Analysis. Energieinstitut an der JKU derives generic approaches for the assessment and evaluates the TREASURE demonstrator cases.
